Johnson wins regional science fair at Wilburton

Ali Johnson, 7th grader at Idabel Middle School, is shown with her Science Fair Project: TEXT WRECKS

Ali won 2nd place at the local science fair and moved on to win 1st place at Regional's @ EOSC in Wilburton.  Ali also received a special award from the U.S. Air Force for engineering and science. Ali was also selected to proceed to State competition on March 25 - 27, 2010.
 
Ali's project was to determine whether or not texting while driving is dangerous.
