Henry James Chadwick, 71 of Eagletown, Ok passed away April 18, 2010 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. He was born January 2, 1939 in Ottomwa, Iowa, the son of Everett Chadwick and Viola Auge Chadwick.
Henry had lived in McCurtain County for the past 20 years. He enjoyed carpentry, mechanics and he loved music especially playing music with his family and friends. He was a member of the Eagletown VFD.
He and Ruby Clark were united in marriage on April 3, 1976 in Clarksville, Texas and they shared 34 years together.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ted Chadwick and Steve Chadwick. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ruby of the home; sons and daughter-in-law: Leland Chadwick of Cleborne, Texas and Chad and Kristin Chadwick of Eagletown, Ok; brother: Everett Chadwick of Muse, Oklahoma; Sisters June Griffin of Cottonwood, AZ; Rita Chadwick of Cottonwood, AZ; Bonnie Duckworth of Eagletown, Ok; Patty Carrel of Sedona, AZ; and sister and brother- in- law Donna and Walter Koehn of Cotton Grove, Ok. Granddaughters Wendi Chadwick of Cleborn, Tx and Cadence Chadwick of Eagletown, Ok; special nephew Jim Shiver, and an extended family of The Clarks, The Williams, and The Cooks .
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2pm at the Eagletown High School Gymnasium with Jim Cook and Jimmy Townsend officiating.
