On March 22, 1973, Anthony was born in Ashdown, AR to Linda and Courtney Roberts. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member on the World Wide Church of God in Texarkana, AR.
He married Angie Ezell and to this union three sons were born. Anthony received a degree in aircraft technology and was employed with Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, OK for eight years. Anthony was an avid fisherman, a die heart OU fan, who loved his wife and boys dearly.
Anthony departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2010 doing what he loved, fishing. Anthony is preceded in death by his grandfathers, one aunt, Minnie Compton and a very special friend, Anthony Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Angie Roberts and three sons, Jaylin, Ian, and Ryan of the home; his mother, Linda Roberts of Tom, OK, his father, Courtney Roberts (Flo Bell) of Forman, AR; his mother-in-law, Opal Burris of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandmothers, Minnie Adams of Tom, OK, Maggie Roberts, of Forman, AR, and Bernice Monroe of Kansas; three brothers, Gray Roberts, of Tom, OK, Juan Roberts (Jennifer) of Phoenix, AZ, Daryl Roberts (Lee) of Idabel, OK and one sister, Stephanie Roberts of Lawton, OK; six uncles, Jose Monroe, Juan Monroe, Herman Adams (Marlene), Horace (Irene) all of Idabel, OK, Dickey Scroggins of Kansas, and Wayne (Rose) Adams of Guthrie, OK; five aunts, Kay Adams and Anna Adams both of Tom, OK, Linda Scroggins of Idabel, OK, and Wendy Roberts of Clarksville, TX; six nieces and nephews, DJ (Trina), Gary Wayne, Megan, Paige, Alton (Joyce), Jashawn (Nikki), Janae, Jarvis (Jennifer), Billy, Brandon, and Shae; several devoted friends, Thomas Jones, Trevor Deloney, Jimmy Ezell, and Mike Jones; two brother-in-laws, four sister-in-law, and a host cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Funeral Services are set for Saturday April 24, 2010 at Haworth School with ________officiating. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery.
