Willie Mae Woods, 78 Of Harris was called to be with The Lord on April 16, 2010 in Paris, Texas. She was born to Willie Goodlow, Jr. and Mary (Walker) Goodlow on February 4, 1932 in the Harris community.
She attended Slater School, Slater Community. Willie Mae married Odell Woods October 13, 1948. To this union there were eight children. She was a faithful member and worker of Antioch Baptist Church in Harris until her health failed her. She lived in Harris all her life.
Willie Mae was a housewife, worked as a provider and nurse aide at Oak Grove Manor and Memorial Heights Nursing Home until she retired in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Stacy Woods and one grandson Corey Corley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Odell Woods of the home; three sons Dr. O.D. Woods and wife Merkie of DeQueen, AR, Benny Woods and wife Mary of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Roger Woods and wife Regina of Harris; four daughters Ola Green and husband Phillip of Woodland, CA, Glenn Walker of Harris, Dianna Jones and husband Thomas of Dallas, TX and LaSonya Woods of Clarksville, TX; four brothers Warren Goodlow and wife Shirley of Grandview, MO, Ervin Goodlow and Charlie Goodlow both of Harris and Oneal Goodlow of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt Leola Giddens; uncle Troy Henderson and wife Verna.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Antioch Baptist Church, Harris, OK. Dr. O.D. Woods will eulogize. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
Friends are invited to a visitation from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday evening.
